Mountain View Trees welcomes new members!

This way, you will receive all of our communications and be updated on activities.

Water your young trees! Don't forget to deeply water all the young trees on your property including street trees so they get established and continue to grow strong.

Visit us at the Farmers' Market . We talk to people, share written information about trees, hand out MV Tree Buttons and tree watering reminders, take names to join our group, and accept donations. We will need volunteers for any one of the Farmer's Market dates that we have set are:

  • August 3, 2008
  • October 5, 2008
  • December 7, 2008

Serve at our table at the Farmer's Market.

We have one Board member and one Member at Large on each two hour shift (9:00-11:00 and 11:00-1:00).

Tree Plantings

We always need many people to help us plant trees during the colder months of the year which is prime planting season. So far we've planted eight Chinese Pistache on Bryant Street between Mercy St. and California Avenue, ten trees of various species in Cuesta Park, ten more at our second anniversary planting at the Whisman Sports Center and Crittenden School and sixteen big beautiful trees along the Stevens Creek Trail.
